Uruguay – Sandy beaches and complete relaxation!

We visited Uruguay in 2015 and we really enjoyed this small country in South America. Friendly people, historic sights, sandy beaches, impressive lighthouses, and tasty food. That is what you get when you visit Uruguay. We visited the capital Montevideo, old Colonia del Sacramento, and off-season Punta del Este. So, actually, we had a lot of those long sandy beaches all to ourselves. There is still so much to see in this tiny wonderful country!
