Qatar – The Country of Gas and Oil

The Arab countries are usually known for their luxury that many times originates from the gas and oil productions. Qatar is no exception. The small country at the Persian Gulf has the worlds third largest reserves of natural gas and oil.

The capital Doha is mixing the highrise office buildings with more traditional souqs and mosques. The desert landscape on the peninsula adds to the effect of a city rising from the ground.
