Cyprus – An Island Split in Two

Cyprus is well known for many things, who haven’t eaten halloumi for example? Its shared history with Greece also includes its mythology and the ruins of temples are scattered across the island.

We visited Paphos in 2017 and enjoyed the walks along the beaches.

The country might be small, but is a common destination for Northern European vacationists. Remember that the country since the Turkish invasion in 1974 is split into two parts – the southern Greek Cypriot part and the northern Turkish Cypriot.
