The airport is located just a 5-10 minute drive from the Montaña Roja Nature Reserve. In fact, the mountain is one of the first and last things that you see when you are flying in and out of the airport.

Driving to the Mountain

Driving to Montaña Roja is very straightforward. From the main TF-1 motorway, you take the exit for San Isidro / El Médano. You then follow the signs for the town of El Médano. The main access point for the hike up the mountain is from the beautiful beach of Playa de la Tejita, where there is a large parking area.

Connecting by Bus
