Breivikeidet, Nord-Troms – Exploring Norway
Breivikeidet is a village in northern Norway. It lies in the Arctic, to the east of Tromsø in Troms County. It is the location of the ferry slip for the ferry across Ullsfjorden to Svensby. The village has around 50 inhabitants and probably even more huskies and reindeer. This is the end of the valley that connects the village with Tromsø. This is also where the river Storelva meets the Arctic Ocean at the fjord Ullsfjorden.
Things to Do and See
The surrounding mountains, the river Storelva, and the fjord Ullsfjorden come together to create some great scenery. The area do have tour companies, but there is also more to explore. It is here that you will find Tromsø Golfklubb, the northernmost 18-hole golf course in the world.
