Ukonjärvi | Exploring Finland
Ukonjärvi is a part of the larger Lake Inari. It is located around 10 kilometers north of Ivalo in the far north of Finland. This is Finnish Lapland and the wilderness is never far away. Along its southern shores there is a smaller lake resort with a camping ground and cabins.

Ukonjärvi is not only home to the Holiday Village of Ukonjärven Lomakylä. It is also a lake with many possibilities for outdoor activities. Fishing is popular both in summer and winter. There is also the possibility for hiking and other outdoor activities during the summer. Not to forget cross-country skiing and snowmobile rides during the winter.

- Flights: Ivalo Airport can be found to the south. The airport offers both domestic and international flights.
- Car: Ukonjärvi is reachable along European Route E75 between Ivalo and Inari.
