Let’s look at the top 15 travel destinations in 2018! Time really flies and 2018 is probably the one year that came and went for us the quickest. It seems almost impossible that we have been able to gather so many amazing memories during this year. Many of these memories are of course connected to…
It only took us a few days after our return from Rome before we had a new trip to Italy planned. As you might recall, we visited the Italian capital in June after a month in Athens. A few months later, in September, we were once more on Italian soil, this time in Pisa. We…
Eventually, like most things in life, all trips come to an end. It was time for our last day in Italy. After five weeks away from home – four in Athens and almost one in Rome – it was actually a nice feeling to get back home. The days in Frascati was a nice addition…
One visit of Rome wasn’t enough and we eventually ended up a second time in the Italian capital during the same trip. Enjoying the view of Piazza Venezia, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo made up a big part of our day.
We might not know who is the current pope, but we have at least seen where one of his summer residences is located. After one day in Rome and another in Frascati, we decided to see more of the region of Castelli Romani. Looking through the web for recommendations we found photos of the town, Castel…

This is the post where we say goodbye Athens! Eventually, everything comes to an end and after a month, we had to prepare to leave Athens. The time we spent in the Greek capital passed way too fast. So many memories in so little time – and Little A will have to stand all of our…
Our days in Athens were eventually coming to an end. There was, however, one place I wanted to visit before we continued to Italy. This was the Temple of Poseidon located at Cape Sounion on the southern tip of Attica. Sadly it was a bit too inconvenient to bring Little A on a long bus…
Right outside of Athens, there are two small beautiful islands – Aegina and Agistri. During our month in Athens, we decided to go for a day trip to these islands in the Saronic Gulf. We knew about these two places already when we arrived in Athens, and it didn’t take us long to start gathering…
